I am a Traditional Usui Reiki Master Teacher and I was trained by the international author and Reiki researcher William Lee Rand of The International Centre for Reiki Training (USA), when William came over to Glastonbury. So you can feel rest assured you are being trained by a good lineage.

I will teach you how to empower your life with Reiki, using the energy to benefit yourself and others, and attune (connect) you to the energy.

Classes are mainly on a one to one basis of 3 hours, over 4 sessions. Times and dates to suit you.

This method of teaching, rather than a quick weekend course, has been purposely selected so you can build up the Reiki energy, gain confidence, and practice.

Courses include a handbook, additional handouts and an International Association of Reiki Professionals qualification certificate on completion.

 Reiki I: Self Healing and Healing of Others -  focuses on preparing the student to become a channel for reiki energy, the awareness of the energetic world around us and the importance of self-healing. Only when you take responsibility for your own health and healing, are you in a position to support others in their healing process.

Reiki II: Reiki Symbols and Reiki Practitioner - builds on Reiki I and focuses on the Reiki symbols, including the symbol that facilitates distance healing. After this level the student is qualified as a Reiki Practitioner.

Reiki III: Reiki Master / Teacher - The third degree Reiki course, or Master Level, is designed for those people who wish to fully embrace the principles of reiki into their lives, and teach others these principles.

It is important to always remember, Reiki was taught and learned very intensively under Dr.Usui (the founder of reiki). The students met once a week to meditate, practice and apply reiki together over a period of weeks, months, or years. In Japan, the reiki path is seen as a course of life that is followed, and a student sometimes only attains the second degree, after ten or twenty years of practice. Here in the west we expect to learn Reiki in a weekend, or over a few hours of teaching. So let us take time to respect the principles and learn to be a 'Being of Light' that is REIKI.
